Three individuals were hospitalized following a major collision involving at least seven vehicles on the M25 motorway in Essex. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. yesterday between the junctions for Waltham Abbey and Waltham Cross.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with four ambulances and additional support vehicles dispatched to the scene. The motorway was fully closed during the rescue and recovery operation.
National Highways reported that “at least seven vehicles” were involved in the crash and urged motorists to avoid the area due to heavy congestion.
The injured were taken to Watford General Hospital, though their conditions remain unconfirmed.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service stated: “We were called just before 5.15pm on Sunday, November 9, to a road traffic collision on the anti-clockwise M25 near junction 25. Four ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, and an ambulance officer vehicle were sent. Three patients were transported to Watford General Hospital for further treatment.”
