The Odyssey’s Elliot Page is glad to have the opportunity to work with Christopher Nolan again now that he’s his true self

The Odyssey’s Elliot Page Reflects on Working with Christopher Nolan Again

Elliot Page is excited about reuniting with Christopher Nolan for the upcoming film The Odyssey, describing the project as epic and extraordinary. Having previously worked together on Nolan's 2010 film Inception, Page appreciates this new collaboration even more as he embraces his true self.

Working with Nolan Twice

Many actors dream of starring in a Christopher Nolan film, and Page is fortunate to have done so twice. Initially cast in Inception before coming out as a trans man in 2020, Page now experiences a deeper connection to the new project.

“I was so excited to be thought of for it and to be asked to come back to work with him,” Page shared at New York Comic Con. “I loved working with him on Inception and loved being a part of that movie. I was just completely jazzed and excited. I basically went and met with Chris and talked about the part and then sat in a room and read the script, and you know, it was of course a big 'Yes.'”

A More Comfortable Experience

“Sadly, I can’t say much. But it was such a joy to come back, and to come back now, as you can imagine, being more comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable, just waking up every day and going to work. To kind of get to have a more Chris Nolan experience again now, that actually really meant so much to me.”

Page expressed enthusiasm about the new journey Nolan's film will take audiences on.

“I got to go to some pretty awesome places. It’s going to be extraordinary.”

Release Date
