Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, is recalling tens of thousands of Jeep vehicles due to a potential fire risk related to battery failure in certain plug-in hybrid models.
The recall affects 2020 to 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xes and 2022 to 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xes, totaling over 375,000 SUVs, mostly in the U.S.
According to the company, an investigation found 19 reports of fires, resulting in one injury.
Owners with recalled vehicles will be contacted about scheduling a service.
