Soho Radio, an online radio station broadcasting between Soho and New York City, is celebrating its ten-year anniversary with a rebrand by Wonderhood Design.
The design studio, located adjacent to Soho Radio's original office on Great Windmill Street, aimed to expand visual freedom for every DJ that comes through the station's doors.
Behind the DJ booth they had chalkboards where each DJ had written their own name, creating something like a logo for themselves.
According to Tommy Spitters, Wonderhood's design director, this collaborative chalkboard inspired the core idea of the rebrand: a bespoke tech tool that allows each DJ to create their own visual world, made in collaboration with Rob Peart at Testbed Studio.
This tool curates a freeform ecosystem, enabling DJs to customize their profiles and create a unique visual universe.
