Armed Forces and National Unity Day in Italy
Today, November 4th, Italy celebrates Armed Forces and National Unity Day.
A 66-year-old worker, rescued from the rubble of the Torre dei Conti in Rome after a risky rescue operation, died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Tonight, a torchlight procession will be held at the Imperial Forums to remember the victim, and tomorrow will be a day of mourning in Rome.
The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.
The Head of State attended the ceremony at the Altar of the Fatherland, along with Prime Minister Meloni, to mark Armed Forces and National Unity Day.
