Samsung and Nvidia Partnership
Samsung Electronics unveiled plans to expand its long-term partnership with Nvidia to build an AI factory.
The facility will utilize more than 50,000 GPUs from Nvidia across its entire production system to speed the development and production of next-generation chips and mobile devices.
The facility would integrate “every aspect of semiconductor manufacturing, from design and process to equipment, operations and quality control, into a single intelligent network”.
The move is part of Samsung's company-wide digital transformation using AI-enabled manufacturing, aiming to set “the foundation of next-generation, AI-driven production”.
