Holberg Road Closed Due to Mudslides
A mudslide has closed Holberg Road outside of Holberg, with multiple slides reported in the area.
"The slide occurred on Northeast 60 Road at approximately the 14k mark," said Dane Cameron, the Regional District of Mount Waddington's emergency program coordinator.
According to Cameron, Western Forests Products is assessing the situation to develop a plan for debris removal. BC Hydro reports 47 customers are without power due to the slide, affecting areas including Dombie Hill Road, Victoria Road, and Radar Site Holberg.
