Loss of Culturally Specific Care
Toronto Western Hospital's Asian-focused outpatient psychiatry program, Asian Initiative Mental Health (AIM), has been dismantled under the rationale of "integration".
This program was one of the few hospital-based services in Canada that explicitly met the linguistic, cultural, and psychosocial needs of Asian communities.
