Fire Safety Day at MEMS
Students at Manchester Elementary School (MEMS) learned about fire safety on a recent day.
This day turned out to be better than I first thought... It made me appreciate the value of fire safety. And it was fun.
The Manchester Fire Department reviewed various electrical devices that presented a risk of fire and provided hands-on opportunities for students to explore fire safety tools and equipment.
- Students climbed aboard a fire engine with help from friends.
- They tried on fire safety gear, including boots, jackets, gloves, and hats.
- Students also explored the passenger cab of the fire truck.
The event aimed to educate students about fire safety and prevention.
