Aldi has issued an urgent recall for one of its popular Christmas chocolate snacks following discovery of a possible health risk linked to incorrect product labelling.

“Anyone who has purchased the affected product should not eat it,” the retailer stated on its official website.
Customers are advised to return the product to their nearest Aldi store for a full refund, with or without a receipt. No other Aldi products are affected by the recall.
The Food Standards Agency also posted a notice confirming the recall and urging consumers with allergies or intolerances to check the product’s label carefully.
“This is a precautionary measure to ensure consumer safety,” the notice added.
Aldi apologised for the inconvenience and reassured shoppers of its commitment to high safety standards.
