Newcastle Jets have secured goalkeeper Ally Boertje for the 2025-26 Ninja A-League season. A native of Newcastle, Ally initially joined the Jets ahead of the 2024-25 season after playing for New Lambton and Warners Bay in the NNSW NPL.
In 2025, she played a key role for the Youth Team in the NSW NPL, making 14 appearances.
“I’m very honoured to be a part of this club again, I loved every moment of the last season,” Ally Boertje said. “With the Newcastle Jets being my home club, I am very excited to see what the team will bring to the table this season.”
“We are extremely happy to have Ally back with us for the upcoming season. She’s a great character and a talented young goalkeeper. I believe that working with Claire Coelho and Anna Leat day in day out will help her make huge strides over the course of the season,” said Jets head coach Stephen Hoyle.
Upcoming Matches: Tickets are available for Round 2 of the Ninja A-League for those interested in supporting the team.
Ally Boertje’s return reflects Newcastle Jets’ commitment to developing promising local talent and strengthening their squad for the season ahead.
