Iain Frizzle, 66, was sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court after admitting to distributing indecent images of children. He had shared horrific abuse material with others and attempted to engage in a sexual chat with an underage girl online.
Frizzle, from Coach Road Estate, Usworth, Washington, possessed 10 extreme pornography images involving animals, as well as indecent images and videos of children aged between three and 14 years old.
On March 12, 2023, police discovered Frizzle uploading an indecent image to Instagram. Following a search of his home, electronic devices were examined as part of the investigation.
