Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou has publicly discussed her past relationship with actor Jeremy Renner, alleging he threatened and harassed her both personally and professionally.
According to Zhou, Renner sent her explicit photos and videos, behaved aggressively while intoxicated, and at one point threatened to “call ICE” after their relationship ended.
“Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behaviour that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before,” Zhou said.
“He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship. I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption,” she continued.
Zhou also claimed that Renner signed written agreements with her production company but later refused to promote their joint projects, publicly denying both personal and professional ties to her work.
She has shared her accusations through posts on social media and in an interview with the Daily Mail, calling attention to what she describes as a pattern of manipulative and harmful conduct.
Yi Zhou’s statements portray a troubling relationship with Jeremy Renner, combining personal betrayal with professional conflict involving harassment and intimidation.
