The leading Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo officially opened its state-of-the-art Asia Highlands exhibit to all guests on July 15, 2026.
The expanded habitat now houses newly introduced species after a period of upgrades.
The animals have subsequently returned to the zoo’s biggest outdoor area, designed to support preservation.
The initiative follows latest zoo developments geared toward international animal safeguarding.
