New York's First PFAS Treatment System
Seneca Meadows, Inc. (SMI), a Waste Connections company, has partnered with The Water & Carbon Group (WCG) to design, build, and operate New York State's first fixed-plant PFAS leachate treatment system.
The 300,000-gallon-per-day facility will set a new standard for environmental protection and proactive landfill management in the region.
- The system will utilize WCG's patented LEEF System® (Low Energy Foam Fractionation), which uses fine air bubbles to separate and concentrate PFAS compounds from landfill leachate.
