As staterooms grow larger—and prices rise—the demand for premium cruise suites remains strong. These suites attract entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, and notable public figures. Many of these guests are still working while traveling, according to Chris Austin, president of Explora Journeys North America.
Randy Marsden, head of cruise at Fora Travel, adds that some travelers splurge on these suites as a “treat yourself kind of moment.”
Cruise executives emphasize that these suites are crafted to feel like home, featuring dining rooms, living areas, bathtubs, and walk-in closets. However, they offer much more than a typical residence.
All luxury megasuites emphasize expansive private views, enhancing the exclusivity of the experience.
“Sometimes they’re a celebratory traveller splurging on a ‘treat yourself kind of moment’,” said Randy Marsden, head of cruise at Fora Travel.
“If they’re not yet retired, they are often still working while travelling,” stated Chris Austin, president of Explora Journeys North America.
Author’s summary: Luxury cruise megasuites continue to grow in size and exclusivity, appealing to high-profile travelers seeking comfort, privacy, and unique amenities.
