The government has announced a new collaboration with employers to combat ill-health and support Britain’s workforce. This initiative responds to Sir Charlie Mayfield’s Keep Britain Working Review.
Over the next three years, more than 60 major employers alongside numerous smaller businesses will join the government to tackle health issues that cause people to leave work and hinder economic growth.
The initiative focuses on transforming how workplace health problems and disabilities are managed. Key priorities include prevention, early support, and improving pathways for returning to work.
