The SRO SpeedSeries program's event sharing method at Hampton Downs has been hailed as a success.
The opening round of the 2025/26 Repco NextGen NZ Championship doubled as the finale of the GT World Challenge and GT4 Australia titles.
- In GT4, Max Geoghegan and Tom Hayman held off Rylan Gray and George Miedecke in a last-lap thriller.
- In GT World Challenge, Brad Schumacher and Broc Feeney stole the crown from Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte amid late drama.
