Anne Donnelly Wins Nassau DA Race

Republican Nassau District Attorney Anne Donnelly has defeated her Democratic challenger Nicole Aloise in the battle for the county's top law enforcement position.

According to the Board of Election results, Donnelly held a roughly 10-point lead over Aloise, with more than 75% of election districts reporting.

Donnelly and Aloise, both career prosecutors, agreed on key policies, including opposing cashless bail laws.

Donnelly declared victory from the stage of the Coral House in Baldwin, joined by County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who also won reelection.
