Logistics Group Expands into Environmental Haulage
A logistics group based in Rochdale has acquired a specialist firm serving the waste and recycling industry, marking its expansion into the environmental haulage market.
Barnes Logistics has acquired Ningbo Walking Floors for an undisclosed sum, increasing its annual turnover by 75% to over £20 million.
- The deal includes the transfer of 44 staff members from Wrexham-based Ningbo.
- Ningbo's 40-strong fleet will also join the group, forming its new environmental division.
