Reclaiming Joy in Corporate Slog
As a senior nearing graduation, I've been reflecting on how to balance my creative impulses with the harsh reality of needing money to survive.
I've come to a simple conclusion: collecting items like Labubu brings me joy. Blind boxes from Pop Mart have accumulated on my desk and shelves, and I view this hobby as a way to enrich my life.
Collecting decorative objects may seem trivial, but it's a way to say "This is who I am" through tangible items.
For me, collecting Nyotas and Hironos is a never-ending and self-sustaining hobby. The process of collecting is as legitimate as scrapbooking or golf.
Other memorabilia like Funko Pop, Pokémon, and baseball cards also represent an individual's interests and passions.
