Kenyans Matata, Rengeruk win Delhi Half Marathon
According to The Shillong Times, Kenyan long-distance runners Alex Matata and Lilian Kasait Rengeruk won the men’s and women’s elite races at the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon.
This is only the second time in the event’s history that Kenyan runners have won both titles in the same edition, with Francis Kibiwott and Lineth Chepkurui being the first to achieve this in 2006.
Kenyan runners stamped their authority on the capital’s streets, storming to victory.
