GOP Wants to Mandate Fetal Development Education
Republicans are trying to introduce legislation that would require Ohio public schools to show a video about fetal development to students as young as third grade.
The video, "Baby Olivia", has been criticized by abortion rights group Reproaction for inaccurately detailing fetal development, claiming that fetuses experience hiccups at seven weeks gestation, when in fact they don't begin until 23 weeks.
Lila Rose, the president of Live Action, has said that abortion is "never medically necessary", and supports forcing rape and incest victims to bear their abusers' child.
This legislation is seen as an attempt to brainwash kids with anti-abortion nonsense, as Republicans have been unable to convince adults to vote against abortion.
