Sharks' Decision on Dickinson's Future
SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky has not finalized a decision on whether to keep defenseman Sam Dickinson in the NHL or return him to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.
Dickinson, 19, has played eight NHL games and believes he can learn more with the Sharks.
I think for anybody, being here, you learn more just with everything that’s here. The coaches, the people, and the players, there’s just more to be learned here for anybody.
The team must decide before Dickinson plays his tenth game, which would burn the first year of his entry-level contract.
