Ukrainian Troops Advance in Zaporizhzhia Region
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a Ukrainian counteroffensive has made gains in the southern Zaporizhzhia region and Donetsk region.
Kyiv has reported successes in the Donetsk region, with forces advancing around the town of Dobropillia near the logistical hub of Pokrovsk.
Zelenskyy said Kyiv’s forces had made gains of more than 3 km (1.8 miles) further south in Zaporizhzhia region.
