The AFU Achieved An Important Success In Zaporizhzhya Region
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully liberated several settlements in the Zaporizhzhya region.
Units of the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar" and the 33rd assault regiment
liberated the village of Malye Shcherbaki and hoisted the Ukrainian national flag over it, according to "Dialog.UA".
During the operation, Ukrainian forces cleared Malye Shcherbaki, advanced 3.5 kilometers, and extended their control over a 5-kilometer section of the front.
- The village of Shcherbaki was also liberated.
- Part of the village of Stepovoye was freed from Russian control.
These villages were key strongholds of the Russian defense, which had been reinforced since spring.
