Israeli colonists fired live ammunition at Palestinian olive pickers in the town of Huwara, south of Nablus, on Tuesday, forcing them to leave their lands and halt the harvest.
According to Huwara Council head Jihad Odeh, dozens of colonists from the illegal colony Yitzhar targeted farmers in the al-Tira area, injuring one person who suffered a broken foot while fleeing the firing.
The town has been frequently subjected to colonist attacks on residents, especially during the olive harvest season, making it more difficult for residents to live their normal lives and threatening their agricultural livelihoods.
