VicGrid's New Victorian Access Regime
VicGrid, responsible for coordinating the planning and development of Renewable Energy Zones (REZs), is introducing a new regime for renewable energy and storage projects to access the Victorian transmission network.
The Victorian Access Regime (VAR) will replace the current "open" access regime, following the transfer of declared network functions from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO).
