Expulsion of Rebel Leaders from JD(U)
A total of 16 rebel leaders, including a sitting MLA, have been expelled from the JD(U) party.
Notable expellees include Narendra Niraj, also known as Gopal Mandal, the sitting MLA from Gopalpur in Bhagalpur district. Mandal had recently staged a protest in front of the Chief Minister's residence in Patna after learning he would be dropped from the party's candidate list.
