Man to Receive Lifesaving Liver Transplant After Friend's Facebook Post
Andy Drath has been living with an incurable autoimmune disease for eight years. He will soon undergo a lifesaving liver transplant.
Drath was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, an autoimmune disease. He experienced symptoms such as fatigue, itching, and yellowing of the skin.
"I was out of town and just was not feeling that great. I couldn't really do what I needed to do,"
Drath said. He had been receiving treatments, including stent placements, every couple of months for six years. However, in August of last year, the disease worsened quickly.
