Pallister breaks Ledecky's world record, McKeown creates more history
Lani Pallister and Kaylee McKeown have continued Australia's record-breaking run at the short course swimming World Cup in Toronto.
Lani Pallister has broken American great Katie Ledecky's world record that had stood for three years, winning the women's 800m freestyle by more than 15 seconds.
- Pallister's time of 7:54 bettered the previous mark by more than three seconds.
- Kaylee McKeown set a new world record in the women's 200m backstroke, bettering her own time set a week earlier.
