Nat Adderley, Jr. started writing music at a young age, with his first tune "I'm On My Way" appearing on a recording by his uncle Cannonball Adderley when he was just 11 years old.
He went on to work with Luther Vandross as his pianist and musical director for over two decades, but always had a passion for jazz and the creativity of artists like John Coltrane and Herbie Hancock.
His debut recording as a leader, "Took So Long", showcases his unique sound and style.
