Obituary: Elaine Neinas
Elaine (Hasenjager) Neinas, 88, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on October 23, 2025, at Door County Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 25, 1937, in Egg Harbor, to Orville and Amanda (Bley) Hasenjager. Elaine graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1955 and married Donald Neinas on June 26, 1957, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, with whom she shared 68 years.
Elaine had a gift for baking, cooking, and canning, and her Sunday lunches were enjoyed by family and friends. She cherished time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
