First Alert Weather: Plenty of Sunshine Sunday Afternoon

This morning, temperatures have cooled into the upper 40s and lower 50s, making a jacket necessary before stepping outside.

A few clouds are possible in east Alabama, but the majority of the area will remain clear with plenty of sunshine going into the afternoon hours.

Meanwhile, a developing low off the South Carolina coastline is producing heavy rainfall across South Carolina and into the Mid-Atlantic, resulting in rough surf, coastal flooding, and gusty winds along the East Coast.

However, this storm will not impact the local weather, and the area will remain sunny with afternoon temperatures climbing into the lower 80s and winds coming from the north at 5 to 10 mph.

For evening plans, the weather is looking fantastic with a clear sky and temperatures cooling into the lower 70s by 7 p.m.

Author's summary: Sunny weather expected on Sunday afternoon.
