Man Jailed for Largest Ketamine Haul in the UK

A 46-year-old man from Merseyside has been sentenced to over five years in prison after being caught with £17 million worth of ketamine.

Paul Farrelly, from Fazakerley, Liverpool, was stopped by police on the East Lancashire Road on September 16, 2025, while driving a black VW Crafter van.

The Crown Prosecution Service reported that Farrelly seemed nervous during the stop and search.
