When the credits rolled on Season 2 of Nobody Wants This, the very first thought was how dare they make me dislike the rom-com run.
It might be an expected trope in a romantic comedy film or television series — a person so overcome with emotion and fear of losing the person they love most that they haul ass to reach them wherever they are and tell them exactly how they feel — but that's because it works.
