Obituary: Thomas B. Bennin
Thomas Benjamin Bennin, 84, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on October 22, 2025.
He was born on June 10, 1941, in St. Nazianz, to William and Jean (Burdick) Bennin.
On October 22, 1964, he married Janice M. They were together for over 61 years.
Early Life and Education
Tom graduated from Kiel High School in 1959. After graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving in Germany for four years.
- Worked on the Nike Hercules missiles during his military service.
Upon discharge from the military, he studied at the University of WI Manitowoc and the University of WI Oshkosh and graduated as a high school biology teacher.
Career
After teaching for one year, he decided to try something else and went to dental school, graduating from Marquette University’s dental program.
He treasured his time with Janice for over 61 years.
