Restoration of Oyster Reefs to Protect Irish Coasts
A €1.5m all-island project, BRICONS, aims to restore native oyster reefs and protect Ireland's coasts.
University College Dublin (UCD), Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Queen's University Belfast (QUB), and Trinity College Dublin (TCD) are collaborating on the project, which is funded by the Marine Institute's Marine Research Programme.
