Reform Councillor Expelled Over Alleged Threats to Kill the PM
A Reform UK councillor, John Allen, has been expelled from the party due to unacceptable comments posted online.
Allen, a former councillor in Hirst ward on Northumberland County Council and Ashington Town Council, allegedly posted comments on a YouTube account (@johnallen7807) expressing a desire to shoot the prime minister.
The expulsion comes five weeks after Allen was initially suspended, following the discovery of the posts by anti-extremist campaign group Hope not Hate.
He wanted to kill the prime minister.
