Southeastern Grocers to Rebrand as The Winn-Dixie Company
The company will change its name early next year, focusing on Florida and divesting over two dozen stores outside the state.
At a time of numerous deals, including with Aldi, Food City, and Brookshire Grocery, the company will consolidate operations under the Winn-Dixie name.
Acquisitions will drive growth, with Southeastern Grocers acquiring Hitchcock's Markets' three Florida stores, to be converted to Winn-Dixie format.
- Stores are located in Alachua, Keystone Heights, and Williston, Florida.
- The Williston store will reopen in December, with the others debuting by summer 2026.
