Residents Warned to Prepare for Damaging Winds
Residents across southeast NSW are being warned to prepare for damaging winds, with a severe weather warning issued by the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM).
A high chance of thunderstorms is expected in the afternoon and evening, with hot and windy weather moving in, bringing the risk of falling trees and powerlines.
- Wind speeds of 55 to 65 km/h are expected
- Possible wind gusts of around 90km/h in the region during the morning
A "hot and gusty day" is expected across parts of the Southern Tablelands and Southern Highlands
Average wind speeds and gusts are forecasted to impact the Southern Inlands and other parts of NSW on Wednesday, October 22.
