NAASR Celebrates 70th Anniversary with Gala Banquet
The National Association for Armenian Studies and Research (NAASR) marked its 70th anniversary with a grand gala banquet at Boston's Fairmont Copley Hotel on October 4.
The program featured new endowments that will enable NAASR to expand its activities, honored notable intellectuals, and included a keynote speech by Dr. Anthony Marx, president of the New York Public Library (NYPL).
The evening's events were led by masters of ceremonies Thomas Simsarian Dolan and Nora Lessersohn, who kept the program moving with their lively banter.
