Head coach Gautam Gambhir recalled a conversation with Shubman Gill after he was appointed as Test captain.
Gill, 26, led India to a 2-2 draw in the five-match test series against England, scoring 754 runs and breaking the record for most runs as an Indian captain in a single Test series.

Gambhir said in an interaction with JioHotstar, about the warning he issued to Gill as the newly appointed captain.
Gill was given the responsibility to lead India through a transition period after the retirement of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
