Intel Foundry Secures Significant Order from Microsoft
Intel has secured a significant order from Microsoft, marking a notable milestone for Intel Foundry.
According to Charlie Demerjian from SemiAccurate, Microsoft will manufacture its Maia 3 chip, codenamed "Griffin", at Intel Foundry using the 18A or 18A-P process.
The 18A-P node offers enhanced performance and energy efficiency, incorporating RibbonFET and PowerVia technologies.
