Former Soviet Expert: Global Powers Want War in Ukraine to End
Dr. Ronald Suny, a former Soviet Union expert, believes that global powers, including China, want the war in Ukraine to end.
“They want to do business,” he said. “The wars don’t do them any good."
According to Suny, President Trump deserves credit for seeking ceasefires and trying to end ongoing conflicts, including attempting to persuade Vladimir Putin to agree to a ceasefire during the Alaska summit.
Other global powers, including China and Iran, also want the war to end, as it hinders their ability to conduct business.
