Accident in Pattaya
A 14-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in Pattaya after running a red light and colliding with a car on Sukhumvit Road.
The motorcyclist sustained multiple abrasions and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The black Yamaha Grand Filano motorbike was heavily damaged.
Near the scene, a white Honda Jazz driven by 29-year-old Alongkorn Suwansri was found. He remained at the scene to cooperate with police.
"I panicked and acted quickly without watching the traffic properly,"
he said. The cause of the accident is attributed to the motorcyclist running a red light.
Rescue and police teams arrived promptly to provide assistance and investigate the scene.
