Wizards of the Coast Previews Dungeons & Dragons 2024 Circle Magic
Wizards of the Coast has released a preview of the new Dungeons & Dragons 2024 Circle Magic mechanic in the upcoming Forgotten Realms supplements.
Published on October 17, 2025, the preview showcases the return of an older mechanic, circle magic, which will bring more utility and power to spellcasting groups.
This magic is a ritual art that allows spellcasters to combine their strength, amplifying and even reshaping some rules of magic.
The mechanic is similar to its debut in 3.5 edition, and will be featured in the new Forgotten Realms book for the 2024 edition of the game.
