No. 11 Cleveland improved their regular season streak to 60 wins, defeating No. 21 Southeast Raleigh.
A medical emergency stopped the game for over 30 minutes when Krisjon Clark was hit by two defenders and had to be taken away in an ambulance. According to coach Scott Riley, Clark was in stable condition at the hospital.
"I was ready to walk away and finish this on Monday,"
Riley said, but the team decided to finish the game that night. The coach noted that Clark was not breathing initially, but a defibrillator detected a faint pulse and he became more alert before being taken away.
