Filip Hallander, a top-line winger, scored his first NHL goal in the Penguins' 4-2 win over the LA Kings.
He was assisted by Rickard Rakell, who is not a typical penalty killer, but a scorer and top liner, having tallied a career-high 35 goals last season.
Despite being outplayed, the Penguins were tied 2-2 in the third period, until Rakell and Hallander had a shorthanded two-on-one opportunity.

Rakell's shot hit the crossbar, but Hallander became the latest Penguins rookie to score his first NHL goal this season, following Harrison Brunicke and Ben Kindel.
Author's summary: Hallander scores first NHL goal with Rakell's assist.
