An expat parent in Guanacaste shares their experience with Costa Rica schooling and how bilingual learning and community shaped their kids.
When my wife and I moved to Costa Rica, we were young and childless. However, as the years passed, we had to consider education options for our kids. In rural Guanacaste, we found La Paz Community School, a bilingual school that we came to know through community connections.
Our two boys have been attending the school for around six years, and the experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
